The first and most important thing in my life is my relationship with Jesus Christ. Simply, my life is saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8)- in the Son of God who loved us and gave his life up for us (Galatians 2:20). And the only thing that counts in life is faith expressing itself through love (Galatians 5:6).
My nick name on this blog was inspired by my dear friend who thinks that I am a little light… somehow. She says I remind her of that song “this little light of mine- I’m going to let it shine, let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.”
My family is a huge part of my life (although sometimes they don’t think so). I live with my parents and younger brother, and I am in the midst of my last semester of technical school in an internship as a paralegal for a government established law firm for the impoverished and elderly in our area. I do intake and translation. I also do a lot of research and writing. I love it.
I have been on many travels. I loved Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. I want to go back to Melbourne for an extended stay if that is ever possible. I have been all over Colorado in times past. This summer I went to the Great Sand Dune National Park and Preserve for the second time. I’ve skiied Aspen, Snowmass, Copper, Keystone, Winter Park, Monarch, and A-Basin: but nothing, absolutely nothing compares to my home turf of Vail. I’ve been to the Great Lakes in Minnesota. I’ve traversed the rolling cornfields of Nebraska and Iowa. I’ve actually passed a week in Iowa and found the humiditiy to be tolerable. I will go to Nevada this year, if all goes well. But I want so much more!
